Coin Ring Pocket Heart Maker

An incredibly simple 3D printed tool used to effortlessly make heart pendants from coin rings. Insert a coin ring into the jig and with 2 quick pulls on your favourite arbor press or hydraulic press you'll have a heart pendant.

It comes with 1 large insert (included) which allows you to use US quarter-sized coin rings. Two additional inserts are also available as add-ons. A small insert and a micro insert will let you make hearts from smaller coins like pennies and dimes.

Please note that you must be able to create a coin ring before using this tool.

FAQs
Q: Can I use an arbor press to make the heart?
A: Yes, absolutely. I was amazed how easy it was to use an arbor press - I would actually recommend it.

Q: Do you offer any warranty on the product?
A: Unfortunately, I cannot offer a warranty. I have, however, kept the price point low enough that most people shouldn’t be put out too much should something go wrong.

Q: What size of ring will fit into the jig?
A: That depends on the thickness of the coin since ring sizes are based on the inner dimensions and this jig is based on the outer dimensions. However, a US quarter needs to be approximately a size 11 for the large jig, approximately a size 7.5 for the small jig, and approximately a size 5.5 for the micro jig.

Q: Will you provide the STL file so I can 3D print my own heart maker?
A: At some point in the future I possibly will. Just not right now.

Q: Can this heart maker produce different shapes of hearts?
A: Unfortunately no (at least not in my experience). It can produce one heart shape (rounded heart). Maybe others can figure out a different way to use the jig to produce different shapes.

Q: What type of 3D printer plastic do you use?
A: To this point I have tested with ABS, PETG and PLA and they all seem to hold up just fine. Your heart maker will be made from one of those 3 types of plastic.

Q: What coins can be used in this jig?
A: The ideal size of coin is US quarter-sized. Although with multiple inserts it can accommodate slightly larger and slightly smaller coins.
